From power, to prison, to peace

A former Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament, whose political career spanned 23 years until, in 1999, he was jailed for perjury.

In prison he realised that only God could help him deal with the disgrace of his past and bring him peace. His life changed forever. Today he is an author, broadcaster, columnist and campaigner for prison reform.

The formal part of this evening will be finished by 8:15pm and there’s no need to book a place in advance.

This event is organised by the Wirral Gospel Partnership.
