This period of lockdown is a great opportunity to time to spend more time with your children, helping them to learn from the Bible, and keep their eyes fixed on our never-changing, always-in-control, infinitely wise and loving God.

Here are some free online resources to help you do that!

  • Big picture Family Bible crafts pdf
  • Seeds family worship has some free fun memory verse videos to help us memorise little parts of the Bible, as well as ‘devotional’ suggestions that you can do with your kids (have a look and see if you think they would be right for your aged children.
  • New city catechism app. For adults and kids. Questions and answers to memorise about the Christian Faith. The free app pairs each question and answer with a Bible reading, a short prayer, and a devotional commentary written by various pastors. It also includes kid-friendly songs designed to help children memorize the entire catechism. 
  • Faith in kids podcast
    • Faith in PARENTS - about raising children in the Christian faith
    • Faith in KIDS - to listen to with your kids, as a family and for taking you into God’s Word.

      On the kids podcast from last year they did a brilliant series called ‘The wonder of Easter’ which you can access all of. And they are doing a new series through the book of Ephesians.

  • There are loads of great kids Christian Music videos on youtube. Awesome Cutlery have lots of singalong vidoes on their youtube channel. 
  • Michael J Tinker is Livestreaming a ‘sing-a-long’ with his friend Mr Grumpy every day at 11am on facebook, and you can watch these back on his youtube account 
  • There is a playlist on Spotify called 'GYD Kids songs playlist 2020' 
  • Spotify playlist of 'upbeat songs for quarantined kids
  • The Beginners Bible has some games, and lots of downloadable activity sheets. 
  • The Big picture story bible has free audiobook and colouring pages
